We want to help you change the world around you, because we can’t do it without you. HOPE takes inspiration from our global efforts while making a difference right here in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati has a charitable chapter In collaboration with HOPE worldwide. HOPE quickly expanded its reach, building relationships with partner organizations and mobilizing thousands of volunteers. While maintaining its Biblical foundation, HOPE worldwide was compelled to find new and innovative ways to fight poverty, respond to disasters and foster a culture of volunteerism.

Whiz Kids

We have partnered with City Gospel Mission to offer reading tutoring and mentorship for elementary students at Amity Elementary, our neighboring school. The goal is to encourage and empower students to grow in their reading and social skills, while learning about Christ. This takes place every Tuesday; let us know if you would like to be a tutor!

Food Pantry

Families from around our city step into a food pantry to receive food to keep their children fed and their shelves stocked. We are always looking for volunteers to serve or donate food. Let us know if you would like to contribute!

HOPE Scouts

HOPE Scouts was founded by our youngest volunteers and is aimed at creating opportunities for students K - 8 to contribute to HOPE worldwide programs and efforts in meaningful ways. This program enables children to impact those in need while instilling a commitment to service in their hearts. Under the supervision of their Scout Leaders, troops routinely support local programs and distinguish themselves by their passionate service. 

In addition to these programs, we host semi and annual programs. Look for announcements on when each program is taking place to participate! Links are updated when sign up is available.

Global Missions

We hope to help fight poverty on the front lines. We bring desperately needed assistance to hurting people around the world.

CCOC Global

West Africa Missions

Annually, we raise funds to help the needs of the people of West African, French speaking countries in Kenya, The Ivory Coast, and The Congo Republic. Funds go directly to the aid of disciples and equipping the church leadership to preach the gospel. Give anytime by designating "Missions" on all funds given.

Volunteer Corps

HOPE worldwide Volunteer Corps' main purpose is SERVICE in communities around the world. 

VC partners with HOPEww programs and local staff to restore communities badly affected by material poverty; we teach children, train teachers, mentor youth, rebuild areas that have felt the impact of natural disasters, support sustainable agriculture programs, serve those without shelter and offer outreach to refugees and seniors. West Africa Medical Brigades

The Cincinnati Church of Christ has a strategic partnership with the African Mission Association, and send over medical brigade volunteers to Western Africa. These brigades help with untreated and needed health conditions in areas where dozens were dying each year because of their inability to be treated and/or have access to much needed medicine.

We are calling all medical professionals or anyone who has the heart to serve; contact The Kirklins if interested in participating.
