About Cincinnati Church of Christ

The Cincinnati Church of Christ is a family whose members are committed to living their lives in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the Bible. We read and strive to abide by the entire Bible and hold it to be inspired and inerrant. We expect every member to be a disciple of Christ as defined in His teachings.

Our congregation reflects the diversity of our city, with people of all races, ages, and cultures attending our worship services weekly. These services are true celebrations, for the life of a disciple of Christ is the most joyful one we know.

Jesus taught his disciples to not only make disciples, but also to meet the physical needs of people. Jesus came to help people with both their spiritual and physical needs. As Jesus' disciples, we strive to do the same as we individually try to help whenever we see someone less fortunate. In addition to helping the needy within our city, we help support an international charity, HOPE worldwide. HOPE worldwide feeds the hungry, houses the homeless, treats the sick, educates the disadvantaged, assists the elderly and cares for orphans. Since its creation in 1991, it has grown to serve the poor and needy in 75 nations on six continents.  It has medical clinics in the Ivory Coast, South Africa, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, Jamaica, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, the Philippines and the United States. HOPE worldwide has helped victims of natural disasters in the US and abroad.  HOPE worldwide in Cincinnati has assisted local and state heath agencies to promote children's immunization programs and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIPs.) HOPE worldwide is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and registered with the US Agency for International Development.
